Charter Communications is an American telecommunications company with over 26 million customers in 41 states. Charter services are branded as Charter Spectrum and currently services 322,000 customers across 81 communities throughout the state of Indiana. In addition, Charter employs 444 Hoosiers throughout the state and has provided a $37 million capital investment within the state. Charter Communications has helped to get more Hoosiers connected through their Spectrum Internet Assist program as well as their Spectrum Digital Education Grant Program. Other services and partnerships offered by Charter include 60-day free internet offer for those who qualify, stay connected K-12 and public housing bulk purchase agreements. Most recently, Charter was awarded funds from the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund to more than double their footprint within Indiana while reaching over 40,000 new passings.
